#babyregistryessentialsgiveaway

When we registered for Elouise I remember being so overwhelmed. I am pretty “type a” so I had done a ton of research on baby products, but nothing prepares you for the insane checklist that is handed to you with that scanner gun. I remember the amount of suggested items on the registry list to be around 300 or something equally as crazy. Well I was a sucker, because immediately all of my research and logic went out the window. If this list said I needed it, it was going on the registry! Needless to say, I ended up with all sorts of things that got used once, and even some that didn’t get used at all. It made me sick to think of all the money that could have been spent on diapers. (Why don’t babies come potty trained?) So this time I knew things had to be different, and I created a no nonsense registry filled with only the most essential items. Right now on my Instagram page you can register to win 10 of those times.

Here’s What you Could Win!

  1. Seventh Generation Baby Care Bundle: This is exactly what it’s called, a bundle filled with items from Seventh Generation to help you care for that sweet little baby of yours. All of their products are environmentally safe, and their baby products go a step further. Diaper and wipes that are free from fragrance and chlorine, but still tough enough to offer premium absorbency. Baby care items like lotion and diaper cream that include pure coconut oil on the ingredient list to nourish sweet baby skin. Not to mention, free and care natural laundry detergent just for babies!
  2. DockATot $100 gift card: I didn’t know these existed when Elouise was first born, but I wish I did. Every single mama I know who has used one of these with their baby has only had good things to say. That is basically unheard of in the realm of baby items. We have the larger size for Elouise and she is obsessed. It’s an amazing item created to add coziness to playtime, lounge time, and sleep time with the highest quality breathable and nontoxic materials.
  3. Munchkin Step Diaper Pail: We did not register for a diaper pail with Elouise and honestly I had no idea what we were missing out on. We either had to make trips to the dumpster in our apartment complex once a day or our tiny place would stink to high heaven. Now that we are going to have two babies with diaper bombs going off I knew it was something we needed. The Step pail is easy to use and looks pretty enough to blend in with our décor, making it an essential in my book!
  4. Primary Clothing $100 gift card: One thing I learned when it came to clothes with Elouise, is that for the first 3 months or so, they are going to live in a rotation of onesies, jammies, and their diaper. So even though the little newborn pair of jeans may be cute, they are so not practical to put on that sweet squishy babe. Primary has the perfect cozy, no fuss essentials for your kiddos!
  5. Haba Toys $50 gift card: We got all sorts of toys for E, and honestly it was the simplest and most basic ones that kept her the happiest. I learned that finding toys that were brightly colored and wooden would grab her interest and then be nice teether in those later months. Haba toys are exactly that! While they have all sorts of toys, my favorites are the ones their selection of wooden toys. They are all made with sustainable beech wood and colored with non-toxic, water based stain so mama can rest easy when the toy goes straight to baby’s mouth.
  6. Covered Goods 2 multi-use covers: This is another thing that I wish I had known about from day one with my sweet baby girl. It took us trying every other nursing cover for the first few months an having the worst time. Elouise literally hated every nursing cover I tried, and then Covered Goods came along and changed the way we nursed in public. Plus, it provided me with 360-degree coverage so I wasn’t worried about flashing the general public. It’s also a car seat cover, shopping cart cover, and high chair cover, so I had one tiny thing in my diaper bag to do the 5 different essential jobs. Winning!
  7. Baby Home Taste high chair: I don’t think I really need to explain this one. A high chair is obviously an essential for bringing home a new baby, maybe not right away but you’ll be needing one soon enough and if you don’t register for one, you’ll just be buying one with your own money later. I love this one from Baby Home because it is so streamlined and actually looks pretty, unlike some of the other ones out there. It’s no fuss, and gets the job done while looking sleek.
  8. Summer Infant Liv Cam Monitor: Even in our tiny home, we still knew we wanted to be able to have a monitor to watch baby girl as she slept. Summer Infant has the best array of options available. This Liv Cam Monitor is one of my favorite because it is portable and links right to your phone. That means no extra device to tote around with you, just what you already have in your pocket or purse. It also makes it super easy to travel since it’s portable. Now when you go on vacation or go visit the Grandparent’s for a few days, you can still have your peace of mind!
  9. Swaddle Me First Year Sleep Safe Set: If you’ve had a baby before you know how amazing swaddling can be, especially in those first few months. Honestly there are so many different types of swaddles on the market and I swore I wasn’t doing it right at first. That’s why I love these swaddles from Swaddle Me, they take the guessing out of it. They are almost like a little cocoon for baby with velcro tabs that makes swaddling fool proof. Plus, this set comes with a swaddle for each stage of sleep to grow with your child through that first year.
  10. Tubby Todd $75 gift card: If you have read my blog before or follow me on Instagram, you know my love for Tubby Todd. They have the incredible, all natural skin care products for both mama and baby. I know that it probably seems the most practical to buy stuff for your new babe, but I would go ahead and encourage you to treat yourself to some goodies too!

There you have it! Those are 10 of my favorites off of my registry this time around and I’m so excited to be able to give some lucky mama a chance to win all of them. There are still a lot of products on my list besides these, so I’m working on a post soon to share what else I registered for.

What are some of your must have items for baby?
