How to Start the Conversation about MLK Day with your Kids

I loved when this day came around as a teacher. Even with the littlest of kiddos, the conversation of equality, fairness, and allyship is such an important one. Martin Luther King Jr was such an important historical figure for our nation that we set aside a day each January to remember his life and legacy. There is even a memorial statue of him in Washing D.C. All this to say, don’t miss out on the opportunity to talk about this day with your kids!
