If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, then you know that I got to hang out at Honest Company’s headquarters for a rooftop party this week. I got some questions about the event and what I was doing there, so I thought I’d just share a quick post all about it. The main reason for the event was to celebrate the newly rebranded and relaunched Honest Beauty line. I am super familiar with Honest products, as I’m sure most mamas are, but I didn’t really even know they had a beauty line before getting invited to the event. Well, you know my love for finding amazing products that are clean and safe for me and my family so I was so thrilled to get to check it out. And for allll of you asking, yes I got to meet Jessica Alba and she was the kindest and most gracious host who chatted with the attendees and spoke so passionately about her brand, more on that later.

Dressing the Bump: Week 36

A few things have changed over the last week. The first being that my wedding rings don’t fit anymore, hence the little sterling silver number I’m sporting in the photo above. This definitely was never an issue with my last pregnancy so I was a little shocked when it no longer fit. I also am just feeling a little extra puffy all of a sudden, I’m hoping it’s just the water weight that can make you appear swollen right before delivery. Gosh I sure hope that this little dude does me a solid and comes early. Except my parents won’t be home from Israel until the 29th, so if you’re listening little guy, just wait until they’re back. I don’t think I’m asking too much, I’ve been growing this kid for almost nine months now.

Family Maternity Photos

I can’t believe we are getting so close to meeting this sweet baby. With my baby shower this next weekend, I know that the rest of the time is going to just fly by with nesting and loads of tiny baby laundry. So, I knew I wanted to take some family maternity photos pronto. First of all, because I didn’t want to run out of time, and second, I knew I would only be getting bigger and bigger these last weeks. I enlisted the help of one of my besties and her super skilled photographer husband from Eric McFarland Photography to take our pictures. The results, as you can see, are positively dreamy. Plus, my dress from Roolee boutique made this 8 month pregnant lady feel like a zillion bucks. I also promised to share a bit more about how my husband and I met and how he proposed, so scroll down past all the pretty photos to read that goodness.

Okay, so I’m a day late, yikes. This whole being 8 months pregnant thing is really taking it’s toll on my brain function. I am always either forgetting things or thinking that things are way sooner than they are. Hot mess central. This week has been especially nuts with a lot of family celebrations and then preparing for being gone next week for one of my best friend’s wedding. I’ll be honest, I was not feeling these photos you guys. I just felt like my “look” wasn’t worthy of a post. That’s because, if I’m being honest, most days I’m wearing some version of this get-up. I guess you could call this my mom-iform. Get it? Like a mom uniform, I know I’m pretty clever. Then I realized how important it was for me to share this look because not every day to I get out the door with my hair done, make up on, or the perfectly put together outfit.
