Backyard Nutcracker Party

Of course our family would have a Nutcracker celebration, Sully has been obsessed for two years now and the obsession is only growing. Now even Teddy and Elouise have grown to love them! I reached out to the ladies from Arla Creations to see if they’d want to work together to create a nutcracker plate. They knocked it out of the park, I couldn’t love them more! I grabbed some snacks, cut out some bread into stars, and picked up some donuts. It was either the most high maintenance play date or the most relaxed party I’ve ever thrown. Either way, the kids had a blast!

A Very Toy Story Birthday Party

Our whole family LOVES the Toy Story movies and with that our home has acquired more than a fair share of toys and memorabilia. With Toy Story 4 coming out this year, the fever was fresh, and it was obvious what theme to go with for the boys birthday party. Typically I go full Pinterest and cram as many people into our house as possible. This year I wanted to take it down a notch so I only invited our immediate families and our best friends. For decorations I found everything I needed at Party City. I linked everything for ya too (which I hardly do anymore because I’m lazy lol) but I know I’m going to get a thousand questions! Sully is still talking about his “Toy Story birthday” so I think that means it was a success.

* Thanks to Party City for gifting us the decorations. All opinions shared are my own. To read more about my sponsorship and disclosure policy click here.

Simple DIY Halloween Costumes for 3 Kids

October 1st means one things in my book, it’s Halloween time! The last two years I’ve partnered with Primary to create some fun DIY costumes using their awesome basic clothing for kids. The first year for sure had more DIYs  (you can find it here) but then last year with a new baby I went as easy as possible with a “no DIY” costume roundup (here’s that one). This year I fell right in the middle, with some quick and simple DIY steps. Plus, this time I have three kiddos big enough to rope into the dressing up, but who am I kidding they pretty much love it as much as I do! All three costumes ideas are meant for 3 kiddos and they are all SO fun. I have a favorite and it for sure wasn’t the one I had thought I would love, keep reading to see which one it is!

Come on, Polly Pocket!

Last week we were invited to a super fun event at Mattel headquarters to celebrate Polly Pocket’s birthday. Obviously the 7 year old Polly obsessed girl in me freaked out! I got to re-live my childhood and introduce Elouise to one of my all time favorite toys. Here’s the thing, Polly Pocket has a whole new vibe than when we were kids, and it’s actually pretty darn cool. They provided us with a super fun day to share all about Polly Pocket and what they have in store for the future. This post actually isn’t sponsored in any way, I just was genuinely impressed and wanted to share more about this re-imagined Polly that our kids get to play with. Read More

A Tea Party with Hello Kitty and Ergobaby

We recently got the opportunity to celebrate the launch of the new Ergo Baby and Hello Kitty collection. Since it’s live for purchase today, I thought it would be a great time to share all of the fun details of the event. We haven’t taken the kiddos out to something like this for what feels like forever, so the drive in traffic to get to Hollywood was totally worth it (just don’t ask my husband, the driver). We have used and loved Ergobaby since Elouise was a tiny thing and they have been our favorite structured carrier by far. We left the event with the most adorable doll carrier for Elouise that matched the carrier that I picked to bring home. Twinning in carriers is super cute, right? I don’t think Sully will mind if I have him in a pink carrier, just scroll down to see his reaction to meeting the real Hello Kitty.
