You know by now that we LOVE staying at the Howard Johnson Anaheim anytime we have something to celebrate or really just whenever we need a mini family get away. This was our 4th time staying there and we are even more obsessed! I shared about our other trips, kicking off summertime last year and sharing our tips for picking kid friendly hotels, but this time we had an early spring break trip to celebrate Elouise’s birthday.

It was no surprise that we spent a good amount of time at the Castaway Cove water park. Our kiddos were obsessed this time with the “hot pool” aka the jacuzzi. One thing I love it that there are always other kids and families there but it’s never been too packed. That means that my kiddos get some instant besties, as always, and mama doesn’t have to worry about finding a cozy spot to sit while I watch them have a blast.

This time we didn’t stay in our usual room (the Kids Suite which you can see in my previous posts about our stays) but instead we stayed in the King Suite which was SO fun! It has super nice and had a super fun pirate theme. If you want to check out photos you can see some here. There was a huge living area and a pull out bed in the living room couch for the kids that actually was impressively comfy.
