Getting the Santa Experience in 2021

I don’t know about you, but in our house we just a tad obsessed with man in red. Santa is something we look forward to celebrating during the Christmas season, big time! Last year, in 2020, things were a bit different than any other year we’d experienced. With so many in person locations to meet Santa either shut down or with limitations that took some of the magic away, we went on the hunt for ways to keep some of that magic alive. We discovered a website called Create Holiday Magic that offered so many virtual Santa experiences and we had an infamous video call with the big guy where Teddy almost got himself on the naughty list (If you missed it last year, click here to watch). Well, this year things are almost back to normal but I know that everyone’s level of comfort is different so that’s why I’m here to share with you all of the options that Cherry Hill Programs, the magic makers behind Create Holiday Magic, offers. Keep reading because I’ll outline the best in person and virtual options I’ve found to have a perfect Santa experience this year plus a coupon code!

In Person

Nobody wants to wait in a dreaded line to see Santa, but there have been so many years that I personally have done it! I’m happy to share that you can head over to WhereIsSanta.com to book your appointment ahead of time! Where is Santa is a super user friendly website that allows you to type in your city, zip code, or the mall name and will show you all the options for you to take photos with Santa. Just a tip, if the location you’re looking for doesn’t have the “book photo experience” button that means that they are not doing in person Santa photos this year. They have so many locations though, so you’re bound to find one near you!

Our experiences at the locations were really top notch. Every mall set up is a little different but their attention to detail with the decor is on point! The waiting area is even called “Candy Cane Lane”, I mean come on! We got to do one set of photos with my in-laws for Grandparent’s week and they have other fun themed weeks like Pajama week! I was also really impressed with the photo quality of the prints we got, which is not always been the case for us at other locations. The lighting was great and the photographer made sure to get a photo where everyone looked holly jolly!

Virtual

Here’s the thing, the virtual experiences don’t necessarily have to replace the in person. We are actually doing both this year! However, if you are not quite comfortable with taking your kids to sit for a photo with Santa, it’s great to have this other option! Create Holiday Magic offers a few different packages:

Story Time:  Watch a video of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas read by jolly St. Nick on any device for just $9.99

My Photo Santa Magic: Upload your own images from any device and instantly appear in festive holiday scenes. There are a few examples below using our family photos from this year. There are so many more fun options though! Unlimited My Photo downloads and complete access until January 31, 2022 for only $19.99

My Photo Pets: Upload your own images from any device and instantly have you furry friend appear in festive holiday scenes. Our pup is overdue for a haircut but he sure still looks cute in these holiday photos! Unlimited My Photo downloads and complete access until January 31, 2022 for only $19.99
