A Very Toy Story Birthday Party

Our whole family LOVES the Toy Story movies and with that our home has acquired more than a fair share of toys and memorabilia. With Toy Story 4 coming out this year, the fever was fresh, and it was obvious what theme to go with for the boys birthday party. Typically I go full Pinterest and cram as many people into our house as possible. This year I wanted to take it down a notch so I only invited our immediate families and our best friends. For decorations I found everything I needed at Party City. I linked everything for ya too (which I hardly do anymore because I’m lazy lol) but I know I’m going to get a thousand questions! Sully is still talking about his “Toy Story birthday” so I think that means it was a success.

* Thanks to Party City for gifting us the decorations. All opinions shared are my own. To read more about my sponsorship and disclosure policy click here.

Pumpkin Patchin’

We decided last minute to head to the pumpkin patch the other night with some of our besties. It was the BEST decision. The lighting was terrible by the time we got there because of traffic (thank you Southern California) but these photos are some special memories so they’re going to live on my blog for-eva. So, without further ado, or any meaningful captions or stories, here’s some photos of our pumpkin patch adventure!

Living Room Reveal: Halloween Style

I am so relived that our living room is finally done…for now. Let me explain, I don’t feel like the room is “missing” something like I had been this past month. Our new couch finally came, we snagged a new chair from Target, and a new table and chair set for the kiddo from Delta Children. Pretty much everything else we already had! I tried my very best to not buy a bunch of new stuff for this house. We literally cut our square feet in half which means we have double the stuff we needed. So we kept a lot and then sold some to use the money to buy new things we had our eye on. And let me just say for those of you who may be wondering, this is under NO circumstances how my house looks most of the time. Right now, my children have brought a tornado of toys through, but during this blissful hour while everyone slept, there was a place for everything and everything was in its place. And all the mamas said a big ol’ AMEN.

Simple DIY Halloween Costumes for 3 Kids

October 1st means one things in my book, it’s Halloween time! The last two years I’ve partnered with Primary to create some fun DIY costumes using their awesome basic clothing for kids. The first year for sure had more DIYs  (you can find it here) but then last year with a new baby I went as easy as possible with a “no DIY” costume roundup (here’s that one). This year I fell right in the middle, with some quick and simple DIY steps. Plus, this time I have three kiddos big enough to rope into the dressing up, but who am I kidding they pretty much love it as much as I do! All three costumes ideas are meant for 3 kiddos and they are all SO fun. I have a favorite and it for sure wasn’t the one I had thought I would love, keep reading to see which one it is!

Moving on up!

You guys, we did it! If you missed it, we moved a week ago. We had been searching for 6 months to find the right place that was closer to Christian’s new job and I am so happy that we are finally here. Our new place is 1,000 sq ft less than our previous house so I knew two things, that we needed to get rid of a TON of stuff and that we needed movers. We had a not so great experience before with a moving company but my hubby found Ruff & Ready Moving and they gave us total peace of mind.
