Elouise’s Ballerina Tea Party!

I don’t know why, but Elouise turning 5 years old felt like a really big deal to me. That is why, even though we decided against a big ol’ party like we normally throw, I had to plan something small and intimate for her. She said she wanted a ballerina tea party and I ran with it. We invited some of her best girlfriends over and had a tea party with real china tea cups but I filled the tea pots with pink lemonade. I snagged some little pastries from the grocery store, made some heart shaped sandwiches, and ordered a store bought cake that I doctored up a bit with some sprinkles and the most darling topper. The girls ate to their hearts’ content, made magic wands and bracelets, and then ran around the yard in their tutus trying to catch lizards. I love these little girlies. Now for about a thousand photos (big thanks to my sweet sister in law for snapping them) and I’ll share links for everything at the end!

Everything was ridiculously affordable!

Elouise’s tutu: This was SO so so darling! It was so comfy for her to wear and great quality. I will say that Elouise is a true size 5 and I put her in the size 6-8. We ordered the 4-6 but it was too small, so just heads up for ordering.

Pastel balloon garland kit: To be fair I had two amazing friends who helped me put this together. the kit came with everything we needed though (minus a balloon pump). From what they said it was super easy to put together and had plenty of really great quality balloons in varying sizes which makes a big difference when making a balloon garland.

Pastel bracelet making kit: I scoured Amazon for the perfect set of pretty and girly pastel beads. This one ended up being the winner. It has a ton of different shapes and flowers and hearts and the sweetest little candy shaped beads! It came with some string as well!

Letter beads: I pre sorted out letters for each girls name. I loved these ones because they were circles instead of squares and they came with hearts as well.

Cake topper: This was a MUST have! I love everything that Fancy Free Finery does and this cake topper will be used year after year for Elouise!

3-tiered treat stands: These were so affordable. Only $11 for two, one square and one circle! They are super sturdy and for sure will be used again for future tea parties.

Scalloped tablecloth: This was such a great quality tablecloth for $5. It almost felt like fabric and the scalloped edges gave it such a sweet touch.

Custom melamine plates: Love love love Arla Creations! We have gotten several things from them over the use and I’m always impressed with the quality of their products. These plate designs were something we created together and I love the way they turned out. Such a cute party favor too!

Gold plastic flatware: I had to look at a few different sets of gold plastic utensils until I found the right ones, who knew it would be so tricky haha. These look super real!

Iridescent Easter Grass: I stuffed the little treat boxes with this stuff and kinda fell in love with it. Even though its Easter grass, I think I’m going to be buying a few extra bags for any cute little gift packaging needs throughout the year.

Paper doilies: Obviously these are a super simple thing, but they were a necessary for a tea party. This pack came with a bunch so we’ll use the for crafting later!

Ballerina toppers: These were amazing! I used them for the little treat boxes but they could easily be used for cake toppers or cupcake toppers. They a super good quality and had a cute little piece of tulle that makes the tutu look realistic.

Treat boxes: I loved that I found these little take out boxes, they are way smaller than that standard take out box you might think of, and I ended up cutting off the top flaps.

It ended up being the perfect little party and I will be thinking about it when I’m in my 60’s and my kids are all grown and out of the house because it really was THAT special.
