Back to School Lunch: Kids Char-cute-rie Board

It’s back to school time again, which means it’s also time to pack school lunches. This is my first year packing “real” lunches since last year Elouise only went half days, so now the pressure is on. I want to make sure I give her enough food that is balanced and filling but also something she will want to eat. There’s nothing worse than opening their lunch box to see 80% of the food you painstakingly packed wasn’t even touched. Well, I’ve partnered with Sargento to share one of my foolproof, favorite, easy, kid friendly lunch ideas. It’s a kids’ char-“cute”-rie lunch which is a play on a charcuterie board.

Going to the Fair with Kiddos

The OC Fair is one of my happy places. I have so many memories there and getting to now take my kids is so fun. There are a few things we always do, but this year since Elouise and Sully were old enough to really enjoy the magic of the fair we catered a bit more to them. I’m going to share with you guys my tried and true fair tips and also the ones I’m am adding because of our experience this year. One thing you won’t find here are tips about parking or tickets (although I know they do have a lot of half price or free entry days if you check their website here) Also, most of these tips are pretty great for a trip to any fair so don’t worry if you aren’t local to Southern California, I still got you boo.

Cleaning up Summertime Fun with Brawny

I know I’m not the only one who has a love hate relationship with the quintessential summertime activities. Pool days, backyard BBQs, beach trips, frozen treats, watermelon, you know what I’m talking about! They’re typically drippy, sticky, and messy but they’re also some of the best memories I have with my kids. Well, I finally found a way to make my life easier without having to miss out on all the fun in the sun thanks to Brawny Tear-A-Square paper towels.

Come on, Polly Pocket!

Last week we were invited to a super fun event at Mattel headquarters to celebrate Polly Pocket’s birthday. Obviously the 7 year old Polly obsessed girl in me freaked out! I got to re-live my childhood and introduce Elouise to one of my all time favorite toys. Here’s the thing, Polly Pocket has a whole new vibe than when we were kids, and it’s actually pretty darn cool. They provided us with a super fun day to share all about Polly Pocket and what they have in store for the future. This post actually isn’t sponsored in any way, I just was genuinely impressed and wanted to share more about this re-imagined Polly that our kids get to play with. Read More

Disneyland with the Ergobaby Metro Stroller

Two things I feel like I’m kind of an expert on at this point in my life is Disneyland and strollers. It sounds like a weird combo, I know. Seriously though, but I have spent my life exploring the Happiest Place on Earth, the past 4 years as Annual Passholders with our kiddos. Since we have been blogging our family adventures since Elouise was only a few months old I have had around 20 strollers (not all at once) so I have had just a tiny bit of experience to be able to speak to what you want to look for when purchasing one for yourself. I was so excited when one of our favorite brands, Ergobaby, reached out about their new Metro Compact City Stroller. We took it out over to Disnyeland to see how it would hold up to a day exploring Disney style.
